Lacrosse is carried by its own: the network of people who played, coached, and picked each other up off the turf. GROUNDBALL turns that network's everyday spending into the next generation's way into the game.
The moment
Here is where the engine lives: the checkout a brand already owns. The bounty sits beside the order — real value, attached to the purchase, delivered the moment it happens.
Illustrative checkout. Ads can't reach an agent; value can — when an AI weighs a hundred places to buy, the bounty makes this one the better answer. Agents do arithmetic.
It docks
Everything a brand is running stays exactly as it is. The engine docks beneath the loyalty and checkout the brand already owns — one more row of benefits its members see, one more reason its products win the pick. The merchant layer that powers this docking is built today — a Shopify app and WooCommerce plugin with per-brand reserve accounting, tested end to end. The program measures the season. The layer remembers the career.
How it runs
The brands of this world acquire GROUNDBALL and offer it as bounties — media spend that once evaporated into impressions becomes token inventory the brand holds and its customers actually receive. Every bounty is sponsorship in the only form the agentic era reads: value on the purchase.
GROUNDBALL bounties do two jobs — they pay members, and they make the awarding brand one of the rewards members climb toward, sponsored by the alliance across every surface it runs.
Members earn GROUNDBALL on every purchase — and their agents earn it for them, shopping the alliance on their behalf. And the bounties reach past the register: coaching a clinic earns, running the table at sign-ups earns, bringing a kid to their first practice earns. The game rewards the people who grow it. And held, the token raises a member's Crescendo standing in this engine's world — the doors of the game open first to the people holding it.
The treasury sponsors the way into the game — sticks, seasons, camps, the first set of gear — on every transaction, perpetually.
Where it lives
On the checkout pages of alliance brands. In the Mall's collections. In Bounty Hunter, where earning is the point. And in the recommendations of the agents shopping on members' behalf — one engine, present at every moment of choice.
The seat
GROUNDBALL launches with the first slate across Fall 2026 and Spring 2027. The majority of its supply is offered to the brands of the game — because an engine belongs to the community that runs it — and founding seats are open now.
